Monday we decided to brave the weather predictions and head to Animal Kingdom. This pic is the Animal Kingdom tree. I love the decorations!
We started at the back with some of the "big" attractions and work our way out. The first thing we did was the safari. It was probably the best thing at Animal Kingdom, as well, at least from a pregnant persons perspective.

I think Disney did a great job trying to give the animals space and a habitat close to what they came from and they tried to make it seem like there wasn't anything between us and the animals as to make it safari-like but you could see the fancy electric fence system they had in place.
Next we found the big Tree. The carvings they made in the trunk are pretty neat and the theater inside was fun, too. It showed a "bugs life" 3-d show.
Here is a snap of my bug eyed friends! Soon after this we found the Mt. Everest roller-coaster which only the adult males wanted to try so my mom, Max and I wondered around to find our next great adventure and ended up finding lunch. We thought we had told the guys to call us when they were through but we realized half way into the meal they both didn't have cell phones on them so I went looking for them. I found the "people-watching" and brought them back quickly so our food wouldn't t get too cool. It helped that we got caught in a downpour. That always makes you move faster! Once we had full belly's we thought we had had enough of the rain. So, I went to throw our trays away and my mom freaked out thinking she left her cell phone on the tray. I immediately went dumpster diving. My entire family was laughing at me, so glad no one took a picture! Promptly after that we headed to the exit of the restaurant and the park. I guess a full belly was just what Max needed as he fell asleep in his daddy's arms. So off "home" we went for a napper.
After nap time, it was still wet outside but we thought we would hit up Downtown Disney, yet again. We found some dinner, some of Robb's must-have mini collectables and a sweet shop where you can custom make a remote car. They had Lightening McQueens and Mater and all sorts of other cars. I think it was called Ridemakerz. We spent a fair amount of time in there. We did not buy anything though. It was hard to Max and Robb out of there though. Later, back at the ranch we watched 'Dinner with Schmucks' and got to bed a little early. Forecast for tomorrow is beautiful!
